Temodal 100 mg – 5 Capsules

Temodal 100 mg contains the active ingredient Temozolomide, an anti-cancer (antineoplastic) medication used to treat certain types of brain tumors. It works by damaging the DNA inside cancer cells, preventing them from dividing and slowing their growth.

Indications

• Treatment of Glioblastoma multiforme in adults.

• Treatment of Anaplastic astrocytoma in children over 3 years and adults.

• For brain tumors that have not responded to other treatments or have recurred after previous therapy.

Warnings & Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to temozolomide or any of its ingredients.

• Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems.

• May cause low blood cell counts (white cells, red cells, platelets) — regular blood tests are required.

• Avoid contact with people who have infections during treatment due to weakened immunity.

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by your doctor, as it may harm the baby.

• Take the medication at the same time each day, with or without food, and swallow the capsule whole without opening or crushing it.
