Diane is a medication containing hormonal ingredients used as a method of contraception. It contains a combination of two hormones (ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate) that work to prevent ovulation and alter the uterine environment to make it unsuitable for fertilization. Diane is also used to treat conditions such as acne that does not respond to topical treatments, as well as to regulate menstrual cycles.

• Contraception (hormonal birth control).
