Sutent 50 mg – 28 Capsules

Sutent 50 mg is an anti-cancer medication used for the treatment of certain types of cancer, including advanced renal cell carcinoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. It contains the active ingredient sunitinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that helps slow or stop the growth and spread of cancer cells.

Indications:

• Advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC)

• Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) after failure of imatinib therapy

• Advanced pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET)

How to Use:

• Taken orally with or without food

• Commonly prescribed in cycles (4 weeks on treatment + 2 weeks off) or as directed by the physician

Warnings & Precautions:

• Regular monitoring of blood pressure and liver function is recommended

• Possible side effects include diarrhea, fatigue, skin discoloration, and loss of appetite

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by a doctor

• Use with caution in patients with heart conditions or bleeding disorders
