Xtandi contains the active ingredient Enzalutamide, used to treat advanced prostate cancer. It belongs to a class of drugs known as androgen receptor inhibitors, and works by blocking the effect of male hormones (androgens) that stimulate the growth of prostate cancer cells.
Indications:

Used for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).

Also used for metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC).

May be used alone or with other hormonal therapies as prescribed by the physician.
